I will start us off. WTF IS THE DEAL WITH GLENN BECK????????? Do people take this guy seriously? I saw a clip on Daily Show where he said Obama was doing health care reform because his real goal was "reparations." Yep that's right, it's all about the blacks and slavery. WTF??????? I can't believe people are stupid enough to fall for this shit.

now you know why CNN fired him! Would Offer that the the reason that Fox hired him is that Fox caters directly to the stupid people of the world/US

Why do Democratic policitians have no balls? Republicans have them big enough to tell outright lies and bullshit, but Dems' are so tiny that they can't even call them on their BS? What gives?
Why is NO ONE on the Dem side screaming publicly, on tv, about this? Or maybe they are, but mainstream media won't cover it. I'm no fan of CNN, but at least they aren't Fox. You'd think they'd be covering some of this if it were happening.
I grow increasingly disgusted!

The Response of advertisers to the Glenn Beck Show
NEW YORK (AP) — Glenn Beck returns to Fox News Channel after a vacation on Monday with fewer companies willing to advertise on his show than when he left, part of the fallout from calling President Barack Obama a racist.
A total of 33 Fox advertisers, including Walmart, CVS Caremark, Clorox and Sprint, directed that their commercials not air on Beck's show, according to the companies and ColorofChange.org, a group that promotes political action among blacks and launched a campaign to get advertisers to abandon him. That's more than a dozen more than were identified a week ago.
While it's unclear what effect, if any, this will ultimately have on Fox and Beck, it is already making advertisers skittish about hawking their wares within the most opinionated cable TV shows.
But it could mean advertising time becomes cheaper on his show than such a large audience would normally command. Some of his show's advertisers last week included a male enhancement pill, a law firm looking to sue on behalf of asbestos victims, a company selling medical supplies to diabetics and a water filter company.

Have Posted 2 comments on Mr. Allgoods blog posting regarding Health Care
And as I stated in my second comment this would have been the 4th time around the block regarding Mr. Connelly's blogging
NORMALLY I don't get too terribly wrapped around the axle when I see these things (blog postings and my "friends" sending me stuff (know where both the Next key and delete key are) but for some reason yesterday it touched a nerve and have gotten into 3 "contests" now in which I know damn good and well that I will never win.
END OF RANT for this week!

Sometimes, you just can't let it roll off. Sometimes, you have to comment/reply to such things. And yes, it gets you into an unwinnable situation. As you said in your message to me, some people don't want to listen. Their minds are made up and that's that. "Don't confuse me with facts," as you put it. I have to say I'm impressed with Allgood's ability to have a civil discussion on my blog page, because I believe he may be the only pro-W person I know who is capable of that.
I actually started my own post to Allgood's post of Connelly's blog......but then I decided I'd had enough drama for this week. So Connelly's a lawyer - big deal. That doesn't make him a genius. Kudos if he truly did read the entire bill, but law is 90% interpretation. And I don't trust a right-winger interpretation to be "fair and balanced."

If it's not racial, it at least plays to racism. Glenn shouldn't really care - He's laughing all the way to the bank - it doesn't matter whether its true - outrageous sells primetime. What Americans really need is another Circus Maximus. The Poor people and neer do wells can fight for their lives in the arena, rather than die slowly from lack of health care , and the government can entertain the masses with their plight. The rich must of course have their positions of privelege and the contractor's will become rich scraping and bowing and furnishing the necessities. (Isn't that the way it is now?) Nothing excites the masses like a little blood-sport. Maybe us liberals just dont understand how its supposed to work. We must be crazy to advocate a decent life for everyone in America.

Algood has just had too easy of life. He cant invision the results of leaving things as they are, because he isn't experiencing any of the problems associated with there not being public healthcare. He's OK (actually better than OK), and figures every man for himself. That's the problem. When every man is out for himself, there are many who dont get a peice of the pie. The purpose of Government is to serve the people. If there is a problem they are supposed to fix it. Healthcare needs a re-vamp and modernization. The Insurers are sucking the blood out of the healthcare industry.

The Republicans always stick together. The democrats are the rest of us - we have lots of different veiwpoints. The other thing is that a lot of Republicans are bosses (bossy). They are used to getting their way. They have always controlled things whether there was a dem in the white house or not. This is intended to be racial, because it brings out predjudices and takes everyones mind off the ball (Political Control) and focuses the blame on Obama. Now that a Black Man is in the White House, all they do is talk about taking back the government.
The loudest voices are the Assault Weapons bunch, and they dont mind saying publicly that they should have the right to shoot Blacks (and democrats), and they will take back the country one way or the other.
I think there is more a focus on racism now than at any time in the last twenty years.

Don't be. It's a healthy release. You didn't really mean it - you were using it as a metaphor.

Hey, don't you go accusing him of the "every man for himself" viewpoint or he'll start publicly calling you a liar.
