NASA is just one of the agency facing potentially dramatic budget adjustments, but they are not going down without trying to rally the public through the use of Social Media. But they are doing it in an interesting way. Rather than panhandling, they are taking the high road and using Social Media to try to generate crowd interest in what they do. Their recent space shuttle launch tweet-up was a great success and they seem to have more up their sleeves.
Is this a good strategy? Could other agency benefit from such approach?
