I’ve noticed that my Twitter use has varied a lot over time both in terms of how I consume information on Twitter, how I engage with others, and what apps I use for Twitter (went back to original Twitter app)
Some of my own personal changes in Twitter use
-stopped use of any RSS postings from govloop to my Twitter account
-less use of lists and back to using search of key phrases
What about you – Do you use Twitter different now than 1 year ago?
I’m with you on this. While I was totally against automated messaging hitting any of my social feeds, I will on the rare occasion use buffer (it fills dead space with some old content I wrote). However, I used to use lists to keep track of brands or news outlets but now I will just use the search functions on a related hashtag. That or I will follow journalists/reporters/thought leaders directly. It essentially gives you the firsthand look that you can’t usually get when reading unbiased articles, and you don’t get spammy junk in your feed either.
