Also, I have season tickets to Virginia Tech football and men’s basketball… boo yah.

Senior Program & Policy Analyst, U.S. Treasury, Bureau of the Public Debt
Have been with Public Debt since 1981. The year I was hired, the public debt of the United States hit $1 trillion for the first time in 200 years. As of this posting, it’s $13,838,490,314,497.64. As a career, it’s been quite a ride. (Hey, we don’t spend it; we just sell the securities to finance all spending by Congress that exceeds tax revenues. Check http://www.treasurydirect.gov for investing directly with Treasury…or to give a gift or bequest to reduce the debt.)
My job relocated from Washington, DC to Parkersburg, WV back 1993. Have since become a Mountaineer fan…EXCEPT when they’re playing my awesome Hokies. So proud of the Hokies this year! Finally visited the Tech campus this year for the first time since 1979. Wow…so much growth! Hope my next visit is much sooner…since my nephew is now a freshman in Engineering there.

Zoology Immunoparasitology 1984. Retiring 08/31/2012. The news from VATECH are summarized in daily phone call from Blacksburg asking for $. Never is enough. May be somebody knows where is this requested money going? In detail, please not general template boiler plate statements. I am curious, what is my contribution actually funding? Thank you
