Interesting InfoGraphic, but all the more reason why elections should not be able to be bought & education should be available to everyone. The fact that a great many people in the world have it bad does not legitimize the destruction of America’s Middle class by propping up the Rich Old Boy network under a guise of Christian Piety & the…[Read more]

Will the future of America be dictated to the new middle-class of poor by Robo-cops & Bankers ? Does the outsourcing Anti-Christ, the Rich Grinch, the righteous lobbying of Bla-a-a Blah, or the Ghost of the gold standard, have any real credibility? Not much encouragement in a twenty-first Century where favorite sons buy elections & the rich…[Read more]

Actually I am more interested in the way people are banding together in groups to support each other whether it be the Wall Street Protests, Food Pantries, Tent Cities, or any other support groups. Around here we have hundreds of volunteers doing everything concievable. I think a lot of people’s eyes are being opened to the real needs and…[Read more]

Its nothing new for me or a lot of other people who have medical issues. For the last three generations my family members have lost the farms and houses we had bought because of medical ibills & medical nsolvency. My Grandfather lost the farm because of medical bills due to osteomilitis. My Mother sold her house to pay creditors after she…[Read more]

It isn’t just that we are so busy living it. I had to sell my house and move to low income apartments. I bought a wheelchair van and am continuing volunteer work wherever it takes me. My son is unemployed. I have a daughter-in-law and a grand-child living in a shelter. Half my town is unemployed or underemployed. No one has any money.…[Read more]

Sounds like good old Ronald Reagan. Reagan broke the financial back of workmen and tradesmen. Now men who had careers are left begging for charity and the GOP even wants to take away their Social Security and Medicare.

Al Fullbright replied to the topic Military vs. civilian workplace culture – which is more suited to government? in the forum Human Resources 9 years, 6 months ago

It doesn’t appear that way to anyone at the bottom and there are many many regiments of the disenfranchised working against the interests of government because they are not included in education, training, jobs or fair advancement in many government institutions. The poor kid on the street is usually disqualified from higher education & military…[Read more]

If Social Security doesn’t pay out on the 3rd of August like it is supposed to 87million Old & Disabled will likely begin to default on everything from Insurance Payments to utility payments & it will take one election cycle to finish off this tea party crap. By the time they fix it several million Americans will become adversaries of the…[Read more]

Al Fullbright replied to the topic Military vs. civilian workplace culture – which is more suited to government? in the forum Human Resources 9 years, 6 months ago

We already have a government culture made up of ex-military. Many of the people in government have never worked in the private sector. Consequentially, we are developing a MILITARY CLASS where the sons and daughters go to military service and then to government. The all-volunteer force is also perpetuating it. The military is not really…[Read more]

After hacking revelations; Mr. Miliband, a rival to English Prime Minister Cameron asked:
“What is a young person, just starting out in life, supposed to think when he sees a politician fiddling the expenses system, a banker raking off millions without deserving it, or a press baron abusing the trust of ordinary people?” Across Britain, he said,…[Read more]

It ain’t gonna fly. The GOP is due to take a big hit. See what is happening in Wisconsin. The Democrats are joined by amiddle road people now that the true philosophy of the Repupublican agenda has become clear. They are just protecting the super-rich and trying to cut Social Security.
The people of Wisconsin are going to throw the GOP…[Read more]

This Budget impasse is pretty much percieved by the public as the resistance of the Super-Rich to higher taxes. We’ve seen Political Dirty Tricks. We’ve seen corporate and financial greed, influence and corruption on the grand scale. These people think they are gods. History has a way of curing these things.
We are not yet in the throes of…[Read more]

Its getting crazy here too. We had our fourth of July thing here and we all have pancakes at the Community Barn. The farmers are all hot about they are going to lose their ethanol subsidy, but they are all making a killing right now and they are all buying new combines and more land. You can’t buy an acre of Corn Ground.

Well, Ed, you may be right. It is absolutely crazy the way things are moving. The impact of K-street on the election process is going to make some differences. With all the social media we have here, though, twitter might have much more power than brother-in- laws. I and you and every down trodden American will be screaming their personal…[Read more]

It isn’t just wild eyed kooks that twist religion into some crime or crusade, but a general expectation that we all obey the fundamental rules of the mainstream christian cult. If Romney can unite the Republicans with his Mormon background, then Indians, Scientologists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Nation of Islam followers should be politically acceptable too. There are many religions that have been considered political taboo in certain circles. Like Cherokee.
