It isn’t just that we are so busy living it. I had to sell my house and move to low income apartments. I bought a wheelchair van and am continuing volunteer work wherever it takes me. My son is unemployed. I have a daughter-in-law and a grand-child living in a shelter. Half my town is unemployed or underemployed. No one has any money. The medical bills and lawyers charges nearly cleaned out the equity in my house. Twelve years ago I owned it outright, but I had medical problems.
