Thats probably because people who have the benefit of good health dont need to look it up on the computer. However as one who has traversed the chain of government agencies trying to survive after being badly injured, I can tell you the subject needs to be discussed.
The key is access. Once a person is injured or ill, he is vunerable and unable to readily access Health Benefits properly. Many patients are suffering from shock or depression.
I was recently helped a stroke victim do his paperwork in a case where he needed a hover-round. He was illiterate. Kinda deppressed. Broke. He had been crawling from room to room on one elbow and knees for five years.
He has three children and his wife is a meth junkie who took off with someone else. He has narrowly avoided having the children removed from his custody.
He too was a meth junkie, and he is disabled.
What a mess, but here is a family in trouble that needs help.
