These leaders possess well-honed executive skills and share a broad perspective of government and a public service commitment which is grounded in the Constitution.This position is located at the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in Washington, D.C. The Deputy Chief Information Officer serves as a principal advisor to the Chief Information Officer in support of the Agency’s policies and programs. Under the broad direction of the Chief Information Officer, the incumbent oversees all information technology plans and policies for the Agency, and is responsible for all automated data processing and telecommunications functions throughout OPM.KEY REQUIREMENTS: * U.S. Citizen * Resume (cover letter optional) * Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation * Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective ServiceDUTIES:# Develop OPM’s programs in the maintenance and interpretation of Governmentwide information technology and telecommunications policies.# Develop and implement information technologies to support OPM’s legally mandated programs and services.
