Today most of us had the day off of work in honor of President’s Day. While the holiday originated as a celebration of George Washington’s birthday, it has become tradition to celebrate the office of the Presidency, honoring all of our presidents.
In light of this, I was thinking about how different each of our presidents were in terms of their leadership styles. Despite their differences, in the end they achieved the same outcome of moving our country forward. I particularly enjoy this quote regarding leadership from George Washington:
“We should not look back unless it is to derive useful lessons from past errors, and for the purpose of profiting by dearly bought experience.”
