I think you speak the truth; however something I’ve noticed here is a fear of transparency. Even if you have a group of seasoned communicators willing to get out there and engage, you still have to combat the fear of negative publicity which seems pretty engrained. In my opinion this is where the lifeblood, the personal touch gets sucked out of social media through editorial review. In your experience is this true? Ultimately, I suppose change just takes time.
