Thanks for your reply! That is similar to how we went about it. We currently have an external blog up: http://www.pulse.typepad.com/. During the development of this blog we decided that our press office will work with the experts to write posts and treat the blog as they do a radio call-in show when it comes to training and managing questions/comments. I think this is an accurate characterization of blogs in a topically-serialized style.
We predict that with little money available in NYC government people will use these methods to reach out to certain audiences more and more. Do you think that your web 2.0 efforts will have farther-reaching effects on how you do business as an agency?
