Bring a back up on disk, on flash drive and email it to yourself. And if you can… bring an IT person with you. The place you are giving the presentation might not be set up like your computer at the office.

Thanks so much for responding. Just baby stepping at this point. I need to learn more about them and really understand why they are so valuable. I anticipate that once I wrap my head around them, I’ll have better ideas of how I want to use them. 😉
I hear a lot about RSS Feeds and how important they are to Public Relations. Fact is, I’ve read about 20 articles on RSS feeds and I still don’t quite understand what they are or how I can attach our agency-created information to a feed.

All great questions! Start following other government Facebook pages. That’s how we got started. I think you’ll be surprised to see how many utilities and government folk in your town are already on Facebook.
