The Air Force Base has a emergency response quick reference guide, specifically for emergency disaster. This is a very detailed booklet that has everything you need to know when it comes to a disaster. It includes phone numbers (Emergency communications center, Command Post, Public Affairs, City police and fire department, etc), emergency broadcast networks, and websites (FEMA, American Red Cros, CalEMA, AF Personnell) to contact. In addition it has thorough procedures for each crisis; Bomb threats, Fires, Earthquakes, Active Shooter. The booklet also includes a “Life Saving-Self-Aid and buddy care” guide in the event a fellow associate gets injured and a picture of our Base’s evacuation map. It’s by far one of the best preparedness guide’s i’ve seen at an agency.
