I’m Dave Worsell, Director of Government Solutions at GovDelivery. We help over 250k UK users access government information each day through our proactive public communication service and integrated community network.
I believe more effective, proactive communication will enable government to connect with communities so they are better informed, more engaged and able to make better decisions. In return, multi-channel community engagement will help government promote channel shift and significantly reduce avoidable contact.
I’d love to hear your plans for channel shift and specifically how the budget cuts are impacting your department/agency in this area. Are the cuts having a positive or negative effect on the digital engagement agenda?
