Nice practical tips as this speaks to the type of work that I do for clients. I try to go by 3 E’s (Engage, Educate and Entertain). Writing content to be conversational is key, people don’t usually want to read something overly formal or content that speaks at the audience and not with the audience.
The first point you bring up is interesting on re-purposing. This can work well as part of a mix of content being published. However, I would stress not to use this as the main form of content as all its doing is regurgitating content that is already out there — nothing unique to build awareness and credibility with the audience that you’re trying to establish an outcome with.
