I’ve set a goal this week to identify my personal, and the office’s general, time sinks. Where time is frittered away and the returns are not worth it. I already have a few in mind for each category. It will be interesting to see what the results are at the end of the week.
The conference went off without many fireworks. People were educated and entertained. I served as host for five breakout sessions, so I did not experience much beyond those. Our office had planned on holding this conference for more than a couple of years. Even as we settled on the location and other planning, we weren’t planning on sudden shift in focus. I’m spending time at our Agency’s National Grant and Interagency Agreement Conference. Today is a day of early meetings. The conference actually kicks off tomorrow– and I am the lead on five 90 minute breakout sessions. It should be an interesting time this week.
