So, keying off my Analysis Discussion starter, I want to let everyone know about a new endeavor which the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative has just launched.
Noting that designing more learner-centric interventions is a necessary direction for us across the Federal (including .mil) learning landscape, the ADL Initiative has embarked on defining and creating the Future Learning Experience.
With all the tools now at our disposal, how do we best take our Analysis of the human performance problem identified and leverage the best-of-breed opportunities available to close the gap? Lecture method? Wiki? EPSS? IETM? Job-Aid? How might we truly go from, as warranted, “simply” presenting a what we feel is a well-designed blended approach to where we guide the learners themselves to decide which manner of intervention(s) best suit their needs/styles/preferences?
So, regarding Design, I would be interested in any matrices, or decision-trees, or other tools you might be using which currently help you draw a direct linkage between: 1. This is the identified performance issue and 2. This is what we believe to be the best intervention method to address #1.
