Thank you for voicing what I’ve been thinking for awhile! I work on at least 4 different systems that all require password resetting at different intervals and have different conditions…it’s a pain! I know that no one is going to hack into a system to approve my funding document…really, it’s not going to happen. Then we’re told NOT to write any of our passwords down. Really? I have trouble remembering anything thanks to chemo brain…writing passwords down is the only way I can keep them straight.
With all the new security stuff they are putting on our government IDs, why can’t they just use our IDs to gain access to the program? Use that as our “password”…everyone’s ID is given a barcode and some kind of chip! But I’m thinking crazy…the government exists to add layers of complication! LOL
