Thanks for the post Adriel, but it’s still too high level. Good idea to retain copies. There are still a lot of “what if?” questions that a lot of public entities don’t consider before they launch into social media. If there were an authoritative body like the W3C who can offer best practices and policy recommendations to offer direction for agencies looking to start something. My guess is that for most agencies, Web 2.0 and social media start off as experiments with baby steps, then it gets well grounded and flourishes, and by then policies are just an afterthought.
