Our execs like to see a daily compilation of news articles relevant to our agency’s mission. The PR office currently has a rather archaic way of handling this request, essentially cutting and pasting online news articles into separate Word files, and saving them in folders by publication, within folders by date. To search for an article you have to guess the date it appeared and the publication it was in. Crazy, no?
I’m pretty sure someone on this list can suggest a more efficient, up-to-date solution.
How does your agency handle news clips? Does anyone use a clipping service, and what are the pros and cons?
