Not using Google analystics to track these items. Most of these go straight to reports or documents. Created a tracking script to create an entry in a database we use to track detailed web activity at the report and document level. We’ll do simple tracking using the Google URL Shortener tools, although I’ll use a different site to actually create the QR Code since I need vector formats for some of these.

We started using QRCodes starting January of 2011. We have added them to the building permit placards for mobile access on the job sites. We have also used them in newsletters, HR is using them in a promotional manner. The library is starting to incorporate them as well on signage in the library. Lots of posibiliities. The Planning Division of City of Abilene, Texas just launched our first use of QR codes as a part of our re-zoning process. A QR code has been added to the zoning notification signs posted on properties going through re-zoning. We’re rolling out our first QR Code use next month, albeit as more of a novelty than anything. But it’s a start. We’re creating bus stop posters with artwork revolving around/integrating the QR Code that points folks to the webpage for an upcoming major event in the City.
