Greetings fellow PMFers, working for OPMs Federal Management Leadership Institute, I get a number of questions about recommended training that helps fulfill the required 160 hours.
I’d like to point you to OPMs Leadership, Education and Development (LEAD) certificate program (https://www.leadership.opm.gov/certificates/LEAD/index.aspx). The certificate outlines a short list of development programs meant to develop your competencies at a given level of leadership (team lead, supervisor, manager, executive). The certificates map to OPMs Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and are recongized across the Federal Enterprise.
Since your agency has committed to providing you with 160 hours of training over two years, you might be well advised to register for training that is fungible and that helps you set your career path towards executive opportunities.
