- Something to incorporate: a morning run through DC, past the big monuments or a training session in the hotel gym before one of the days. Work/life balance and managing stress could be the topic… May be suited more for those traveling to NextGen (like me!) and I’m sure you guys have those numbers. I know you have some GovLoop/GovDelivery runners as well. My first trip to DC as a Fed was for NextGen 2011. Very inspiring getting to see everything outside of the hotel too. A good way to incorporate a work/life balance session with seeing the city. I bet one of the Healthcare vendors would provide healthy snacks, etc. or a yoga instructor during one of the sessions. We have a SoCal Feds Get Fit group in Los Angeles and BC/BS will provide a lot of the resources for us.
- SES feedback. Having an SES panel give honest feedback to Gen X, Gen Y and Millennial attendees about behavior in the workplace. Briefly touched on it during a session last year and kind of funny when an SESer told the audience to “slow down, stop texting me, and no I don’t want to be your Facebook friend.”
