Ill tend to agree with Yun-Mei rather than summary newspaper reports about changing trends. In my view it’s ‘horses for courses’, some applications are better in some circumstances! Having said that I saw a report today that one large consultancy was stopping email and having everyone use it’s social media tool – a bit heavy handed in my opinion but I’m old 🙂 my teenage son rarely uses email, lives on Facebook and textmessaging – he only uses a landline phone when he’s no credit or there’s no cell coverage! So things will change in a little while, but there’ll still be people (somewhere) using pen & paper, in the same way last week I saw a retired university maths lecturer using an overhead projector. The technology’s not dead until those who use it are!
I Tweet (@greatemancipato) when I feel the need, and blog for length. Facebook is not for me – too many people I don’t want to speak to…
