One of the things the program is sorely lacking is a mechanism (in regulation or law) that tracks every move a PMF makes within a certain period of time. Ideally, you would track finalists from appointment through their moves within, say, the first five or ten years. It could tell you things like the attrition rate at different points, give you statistics on normal career progressions, and the like. But the complaint from the program office has been that they are understaffed and can’t handle all of that information.
