The President’s Executive order was quite timely for our NYC agency in that we have recently begun training and implementation of a Lean Six Sigma program.. Our team has been tasked to evaluate and improve the delivery of customer service. We plan to develop an on-line survey utilizing either Survey Gizmo or Survey Monkey to gather data from our customers. In addition, based on suggestions and input from Wendy and Candi I have proposed the creation of Customer Service Panels comprised of staff from the major agencies we service. This will open up communications and allow us to have a direct dialogue with our customers to find solutions to “tombstones” and create leaner procedures for service delivery! Should be quite interesting, will try to post our progress from time to time.
