I’m retired Army, and a former fed GS 11, I have been trying to return to the Government for almost 2 years, have applied for over 300 jobs, and have talked with every special program coordinator in the DC area and have received no help from anyone, so if the government has recruiters, how do you find out where they are.

I’m retired Army and 30% disabled veteran, and also a former career employee with the gov’t, trying for the past year to return to the civilian workforce, with no luck of course, now the pay freeze which I agree with if its across the board, whats next? Hiring freeze, even for persons with disabilitis, and veterans. The freeze will hurt disabled veterans, and Schedule A’s and I guess it will throw hiring reform out the window.

If the pay freeze is for gov’t employees, then all gov’t employees should have to endure including congress and the senior officials

To put veterans in Human Resources Offices through out the government to work only with veterans that are already in the government or those applying for federal positions, at least veterans would know how to deal with other veterans and know how to understand their military paperwork and their military counterparts.
