I sign up when it was in beta… it’s definitely got potential. I also like what Bing is doing with it’s “Ask a friend” feature… your searches can pull up info from friends on Facebook. So you search for “Avengers Movie” and up pops links to friend’s posts on the topic.
Microsoft search on the whole is evolving. Fortunately, all the teams report up to the same management so the best of each can be leveraged. I work primarily in the realm of enterprise search – like FAST. And a huge part of an enterprise search strategy is your people; who they are, what they do, and when they done it. Identifying and indexing skills, experience, and value (ratings, “likes”) adds a significant amount of metadata to your content that makes relevancy all the more accurate.
