I find it interesting that this discussion has come around again. Only the phrase “freedom of speech” never came up in this conversation. https://www.forbes.com/sites/legalentertainment/2017/06/08/blocked-by-the-president-are-trumps-twitter-practices-violating-free-speech/#4d8914fa3d57

Thought it might be useful to move the discussion to the CyberSecurity Forum. Visit https://www.govloop.com/groups/cybersecurityissues/forum/topic/facebooks-threatexchange/#post-241020 for that.

I was reading an article about Facebook’s recent F8 developer conference, and it mentioned a new platform for sharing security information.

I’m curious whether government agencies will participate or stay far far away.

Here’s a short description from page 3 of their website >> Previous approaches have been challenging. Email and spreadsheets are ad-hoc and inconsistent. It’s difficult to verify threats, to standardize formats, and for each company to protect its sensitive data. If you’re into Lego and/or robots, visit your local FIRST Lego League (FLL) website to see and sign up to be a volunteer judge at an FLL tournament!
In Virginia/DC, tournaments occur throughout November; in MD, tournaments occur throughout December/January. (I’m not sure about other states; sorry.)

Teri Centner replied to the topic Digital Communications vs Digital Outreach in the forum Miscellaneous 6 years, 10 months ago
I prefer digital outreach. The phrase digital communications makes me think of email or voice over IP. It’s about sending bits and bytes through digital media.
Digital Outreach, on the other hand, makes me think of The Cluetrain Manifesto and Gary Vaynerchuk’s Thank You Economy. It’s about reaching out to people through digital media.

Teri Centner started the topic People Who Twitter about SharePoint in the forum Microsoft SharePoint 8 years, 2 months ago
I’ve started a list of people I follow in the hopes of learning more about SharePoint. I’m curating it at TwitChimp.com so that others can suggest people that they follow (or themselves) also. If you’d like to suggest other SharePoint gurus, please visit my list at http://twitchimp.com/user/tericee/spgeekiness.
thanks!

Teri Centner replied to the topic Are Fewer People Seeing Your Facebook Page Posts? in the forum Communications, Citizen Engagement, Customer Service 8 years, 2 months ago
I’ve been hearing a lot of chatter lately because Facebook now requires page administrators to pay to promote their updates if they want their content to be seen by *all* their fans. If they do not pay to promote their posts, only about 10% of their fans will receive updates on their Facebook feeds. Details are available at https://www.facebook.com…[Read more]

Somebody commented on one of my blog posts that “One man’s enterprise is another man’s stovepipe.” Because I find this both true and depressing, I have always (since 2004, anyway) wanted to be able to see how the various DoD (and Federal) enterprise architectures fit together.
If the Federal enterprise is made of up myriad agency enterprises,…[Read more]
