Will this be announced?
GSA’s Director Network Services Programs, Karl Krumbholz, tells FederalNewsRadio the General Services Administration has come up with an answer: extend the deadline.
We’ve already decided that we would implement a continuity of service extension, so that takes us out to 2012. So overall, with the extension, that gives us, from the beginning, four and a half years to complete this entire transition and of that time, about 32 months are down and we have about 22 months remaining
After the interview on the Federal Drive, Krumbholz’s office contacted FederalNewsRadio.com with a clarification: he misspoke when discussing the year. The extension is through 2011, not 2012.
