@1g40qlvisxvj7Hi Beatriz–Whenever someone is acting that way, it is because they are acting out of fear. So the first step, is to take a deep breathe and go to the trust–trust that in the end you both want the same thing a healthy, high-functioning work environment. Next, be yourself and ask to talk with her. You can express your desire to do the best possible job and help her look good for having such a great work environment. When you make your intentions clear, it will likely help her deal with her insecurities. In the end proceed to step three, stay true to you and if this is a work environment that will not support your leadership then look for other places that will allow you to be all you can be!
