AWS Partner Network Delivers Innovative Solutions for Frontline Workers

This blog was written in collaboration with Amazon Web Services.

Over the past few months, we have all witnessed the dynamic efforts of public health personnel and healthcare workers to combat COVID-19. This crisis has also highlighted the need for collaboration, as many consulting and technology firms are providing public health personnel and healthcare workers with the innovative technology they need to carry out their missions.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has established a wide-reaching AWS Partner Network (APN) over the years, and many APN Partners have supported frontline workers with technology that enables tracking of hospital and health care resources, analyzes utilization of those resources, and predicts where the next cluster of positive COVID-19 cases will be.

“Technology has proven to be instrumental in helping health care providers manage the COVID-19 response,” said Sandy Carter, Vice President, Worldwide Public Sector Partners and Programs, AWS. “Our AWS Partners are developing solutions that have had a significant impact on public sector organizations during the pandemic by supporting research and analysis, developing faster at-home testing abilities and more. I expect we’ll see even more innovation as health care providers continue to use the cloud to support their missions.”

The goal of these APN Partner solutions is to arm public health personnel and health care workers with timely information and analysis so they can shift from a reactive mode to a strategic mode, allowing them to better manage their patients, resources and workflow.

Cloud-based solutions will continue to be instrumental in helping health care providers manage the response to COVID-19. Here are a few examples of how APN Partners are providing that technology:
