Cornell LII to Develop Legislative Data Model for Library of Congress

Rob Richards January 6, 2011

A new data model for U.S. federal legislative information provided by the Library of Congress (LC) will be developed by The Legal Information Institute (LII) at Cornell University Law School, led by director and co-founder Tom Bruce — a member of our community — according to an announcement on the LII Announce blog.

This model will contribute to LC’s ongoing effort to improve access to its rich collections of legal information.

Joining LII on the project will be metadata expert Diane Hillmann and her team at Metadata Management Associates, and John Joergensen, creator of the Rutgers Camden digital law library.

For more information, please see the announcement.
