How to Minimize the Risk on the Road to AI

Federal agencies are quickly realizing they cannot achieve the kind of efficiency that’s expected of them without using AI. However, with AI adoption comes the critical need to effectively manage the associated risks. As technology evolves at a rapid pace, delaying adoption is no longer a via option.

“The key is to reframe the challenge,” says Chad Cisco, Chief Customer Officer at DataRobot. “Risk shouldn’t be viewed as a roadblock to efficiency but as a manageable part of the process. With the right strategies and tools, those risks can be mitigated.” This shift in perspective is now shaping how the federal government approaches AI implementation.

“The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) recently issued a memo urging Chief Data and AI officers to act as enablers for AI,” Cisco explained. “When you’ve anticipated risks and established robust frameworks, you can move forward with confidence and speed.”

In this video interview, Cisco shares insights on how federal agencies can accelerate AI adoption while safeguarding their systems and data.

Topics include:

  • Four common use cases for using AI to drive efficiency
  • Key issues to address in security, governance and ethics, and data privacy
