What if you had 40 minutes with one of America’s greatest data scientists?

How would you like to attend an event that features a presentation by Jeff Hammerbacher providing context and lessons learned on Innovation and Data? If you are like most enterprise technologists you would jump at the opportunity. Thanks to the wonders of YouTube, you don’t have to travel to a conference to hear Jeff, you can watch him online!

With that, I would like to bring your attention to one of the best, most inspring talks on data I have seen in a long time. I just came off two “Big Data” conferences, I was at Hadoop World in October and helped pull together (and brief at) the Government Information and Analytics Summit and both of those were great events, but I have to tell you, I personally got more value from watching this video by Jeff than I did from watching any session at either Hadoop World or our Government Info/Analytics Summit. This video is that good.

The talk was at a three day conference at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Jeff has a special interest in innovation in that field, but the video has context relevant to all fields with data.

So, please watch this video, and if you are in a leadership position, bring your technology team together for a team viewing of this session, I highly recommend it. Watch it here: http://youtu.be/OVBZTDREg7c
