Government: Project Management

Got a project? Having trouble getting your regular work done and still finding time to knock out that special task? Let GovLoop help!

Our Project Management Guide will show you seven templates that capture the essential aspects of project management. Feel free to customize the templates as you want but do take the time to complete first six templates with your project sponsor and project team. One short read and you'll be knocking out projects left and right.

A special thanks to GovLooper Dr. Bill Brantley who is the author of this guide. Bill is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has taught project management to MBA students and working professionals for close to six years.

Project management doesn't stop with the guide on GovLoop. We have several other resources that can help you knock project management out of the park.

Are the actual templates available in something other than pdf?

Very nice overview of the PMBOK. Concise and easy to follow guide. Participants in the PA CPM certificate program will find this very helpful in working on their capstone projects.

Check out the IT Project Management class (ITP), and related classes on enterprise architecture, information assurance, strategic acquisition among others at the National Defense University's iCollege.  These are world class programs for both civilian and military organizations.  They also are developing a new series of classes on roles of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Emerging Information Technologies and Forecasting them. NDU iCollege

Awesome - Karen - would love to see the toolkit once complete.  You should post on GovLoop as well for others to use.  Sounds fascinating

Looks to me like the sections are in Adobe Acrobat & the flip-book was done at  All you have to do is upload a document and it creates the flip-book for you.
