What cities are using UserVoice for citizen engagement?

Hi everyone, I am looking for case studies of cities out there who are using UserVoice as a citizen engagement tool, to solve city problems. I saw Peter Koht from City of Santa Cruz speak last year about using it to garner ideas for closing the budget gap they had at the time. I'm trying to convince our Mayor in Petaluma that it would be a good tool for us to use to similar ends - budgetary, economic development ideas, input on large scale commercial development projects, etc. Does anyone have…See More

Hey Jaimey. Keith Moore here from Open Government TV. www.opengovtv.com . Would you consider a collaboration opportunity since we seem to be in similar space, in this huge universe where collaborations will ultimately empower?

It seems like all I can think about these days is Gov 2.0 Summit dovetails into Gov 2.0 Expo in May; keeping a steady conversation that points to practical successes; connecting top-down with bottom-up. Early adopters of Gov 2.0 and Web 2.0 are looking to forward to the down-to-earth, problem-meets-solution "half" of the conversation now. It's exciting.
