This video is just funny, no matter who you are.
The clip takes video from the Apple iPad launch event and then lets you see this week’s Microsoft Surface launch in that light. The result: something really funny. Even my Microsoft friends should be laughing at how this looks, really.
Although I hope we all get a good laugh at this, the serious point is that it is hard to build good technology and Microsoft has built something that can change the dynamic, especially if it takes advantage of capabilities provided by enterprise governance systems. So we shouldn’t be too hard on them. Here is a more serious look at what this device is like.
Some points: Surface will run Flash. And it will run Microsoft Office.
