“Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.” – Jim Rohn
Do you believe that you have to work hard for your money? Before you answer that, do you believe that it’s equally important to make your money work hard for you? Without a doubt, working hard is important, but making your money work hard is important too.
One way to make money work for you is to start a business where you can still keep your day job, but also allows you to earn money while you sleep. Today an internet business is one of the easiest to start. Simply find a need and fill it. It’s just a matter of determining what interests you and then finding out who needs it, how best to reach them, and how to convince them to buy.
If you have an interest in cooking, you can sell ebooks, special reports and how-to courses on how to cook healthy meals in twenty minutes or less. You can start off by writing articles about cooking less and posting them on your blog in order to get readers. Once those readers start coming regularly, you can give them free information and reports to develop a rapport with them. Then you can begin selling your information once you’ve established your creditability with them. We all like to purchase products from those who we like, care about and trust. Once you have established a relationship with them and consistently give great quality, you will see your sales begin to rise.
Another way to make money work hard for you is to save and invest the money you earn instead of immediately spending it. Learn to think long-term. Resist instant gratification.
