Today’s mobile gov discussion is about security.
Nobody wants mobile gov products that harm agency computer systems, or products that expose end users to malware.
We are just at the beginning of getting security guidance for mobile consumer products. As agencies develop citizen services apps they need to protect end users as well as agency networks. All this with a backdrop of the many and evolving platforms which makes developing standards and good practices a challenge.
