PACE Webinar: ‘Positioning for the Possible: Civic Engmt as Educ Reform Strategy in NM’

Based on her analysis
of the dynamics in New Mexico, the author Chris Sturgis, a national advocate for
community engagement, recommends that philanthropic investments be directed
towards community engagement along with a statewide educational intermediary to
support local efforts. Adrian Pedroza from the Partnership for Community Action
will join the conversation to delve into the cultural dynamics in New Mexico
that need to be taken into consideration in community engagement efforts. Ron
White of NMAG will discuss the implications of this approach for New Mexico
grantmakers.

including positions with the Tides Foundation; the Charles Stewart Mott
Foundation; and Share Our Strength.
