I don’t see the problem. There are different networks for different purposes. Variety is the spice of life. I use Facebook strictly for personal networking,LinkedIn for professional networking GovLoop for government stuff, OMB Max for official government stuff, my agency network for agency stuff, and a family network to share family photos. I tie them all together with Twitter feeds and e-mail notifications. Some like Google+ I just casually use, but that too has lots of potential. I’m ignoring Pinterest and some others.
Terry, I try to do exactly what you do, and it is so time consuming, especially when my friends, family, colleagues, etc. seem to want to mix everything up while I try to keep them straight. And tieing together with Twitter doesn’t help me because almost no one among my 400 or so contacts uses it.
