Greetings fellow space travelers,
There is great wisdom in what you speak, the challenge is promoting and spreading this wisdom into the culture of the organization. I would catagorize us as corporate mystics, individuals that live in two worlds, one world knowing that “together” and “shareing” is the path to great knowledge and the other world…[Read more] -

“Communities of Practice” are alive and well – called by many names “product lines”, “service lines”, or even old fashion “disciplines” they have and will always be the core of our “social networks”.
We are all knowledge workers to one degree or another! What we choose to learn from our experience and the experience of others IS Knowledge…[Read more]

“Recruiting/retaining/growing great workers…” is a responsibility of every supervisor not just HR. One of the most difficult responsibilities of the supervisor, in my experience, is the position description! The supervisor must understand the mission, goals, and objectives of the organization. The supervisor must understand the skills and…[Read more]

Using knowledge to make decisions is a daily endeavor performed by everyone in the organization. Our challenge is to establish a framework (or information structure) that allows any user “access” to the knowledge they need in order to make a decision. This usually is related to finding information they saved, or others have saved, after they have…[Read more]
