Where government employees should work has become quite the controversial issue. And there are a lot of reasons in the DC metro area why employees are being called back to their offices, including to help support the local economy.

The White House has asked agencies to revisit their telework policies to try and bring more employees back into the office, at least part-time, to help enhance collaboration. But many government employee unions are fighting back, saying that remote work helps with recruitment and retention of employees.

All this is to say that being an on-site/off-site employee is not easy.
