How goes it brother? Haven't talked to you in forever. Wanted to see how the blistery north was treating you? Hope that you are doing awesome in all things Charney. Wanted to see if you were coming to VA or DC anytime soon. I'm still trying to work on getting you down here for a talk. I might be setting up a CityCamp session and see if I could include you in that. Let me whats new.
And here are the questions I would like you to answer. It would be great if you could provide your responses by 6/9.
I need your organization and any supporting links you want to provide. Then answer 1. What was your path to public service/current job? 2. What awesome projects are you working on now? 3. What have been some of your most memorable experiences in public service? 4. What advice do you have for people who are new to the public sector?
Once posted, I will send you a note when people comment so you can respond to them.
My apologies to you for not accepting your friendship invitation sooner, as I've been off the site for a few days, no ill will intended. We are connected on LinkedIn if I remember as well, and you can always reach me through there or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am in agreement with you about carving out a space for Canadians (government or otherwise) that is not strictly about Web 2.0, but I would like to avoid fragmenting us among several groups. I've changed the name of "Canadian Government 2.0" to "Canadian Government" in the short-term awaiting to see what you will propose, and I am in agreement otherwise to expand the mandate of the group or ask people to transfer to "GovLoop North".
Nick - I'll do a bit of work tonight for both the group icon, and the main page without the "North" and the menus. Meant to remove those before, but got carried away with the design.
I do know some CSS, and may be able to help out on that end as well.
