Posted on January 27, 2014 at 10:00am 1 Comment

Last night was one of my favorite nights of the year, the Grammy's.  Ever since a kid, I've loved music and watching the Grammy's was a staple every year, regardless of my current fad (whether I was a hip-hop head to college radio indie hipster to Dylan aficionado).

While watching the Grammy's last…

Hi, Steve,

So sorry to report that my first contact via govloop was a spam pick up message from 'Alex Robert' in the system.  I looked for a place on the website to notify you that this action took place but did not find it.  You might want to add a 'spam' option in your email features so the organizers of govloop can get rid of 'members' who do this.  I tried to reach you via the email address listed with this auto message generated to new members ( but it was returned to me undelivered.

Hi, I'm Steve Ressler, Founder of GovLoop.
I'm excited that you signed up for GovLoop email updates.
It is not an appealing feature of governmental communications to have a moderated system's first community interaction be this:
"I noticed your profile and you sparked an interest to me.I am a single man looking for my true love,a woman that has a big heart, ready for a serious and honest long term relationship.I saw your profile and it caught my attention and i like to know more about you. Please send me y

Good Afternoon Steve,

I don't know if I accidently hit the wrong key or what, but lately it seems like Govloop is contractors picking my brain, and people asking me to vote for them.  Did something change? Thank your for considering this.

Hi Steve, Thank you for asking! I got back to the states on DEC 27, BUT, we really didn't get to TN until JAN 12. So, that is the date I really feel like I was home. The blocked sites list, while I was deployed, were hard to get around, and many sites would not come up. So, that is why I didn't have much time to get on here. PLUS, we were working 12-14 hours a day. It was crazy. :-) I was gone for so long, I have been working every weekend to get things back in order at home. I see things are moving along great here!! I am so happy for you! I will be retiring out of the military soon, so I am looking all over the world for my next step in life. :-) Hope you have a fantastic day!!! Again, thank you for asking about me! :-)
