A Veteran’s Day Message for Young People

I write one of these every year, but this year, I decided to do one for young people – live. I made this for my daughter’s middle school class after staff there asked me to come speak to these kids.

Make good choices today and honor the men and women who gave you that right.

Thanks very much for sharing this awesome video, David. Moreover, thanks very much for your military service to America.

In my opinion, nothing is more honorable and patriotic.

FYI: my late father, may he rest in peace, served in the U.S. Army, 10th Mountain Division, special explosives unit. He received an honorable discharge as a 1st Lt. prior to becoming a business owner, husband and father.

Although he was never on the war front, my dad’s military service is one of his lasting legacies and life achievements. You may have read a previous blog post of mine, “Tribute to U.S. Army on 238th Birthday; and Remembering Dad
Thanks again, David, and happy Veterans Day!
