Today was the last day of classes for me at the Federally Employed Women’s Conference in Orlando Florida. This was the best day yet! I had only one class today and it was Lean Six Sigma. I have wanted to learn more about Six Sigma but never really had the opportunity–so I could not miss this. Six Sigma is a wonderful concept- creating efficiency. It is something that the government, especially my agency, could really use. I sat in my class memorized that someone had packaged up this thing that I have been doing my entire career. Making processes more efficient and saving money and time are things that get me really excited. I have decided to take a certification class as soon as I can find one that is reasonably priced. If you know of one, let me know. This is the end to a great week for me and I hope to attend next year.
