Good Deeds from Your Parents

Looking back on my childhood, I was so blessed. I had a strong mother and grandmother who taught me to LOVE GOD. The importance of education was something that my mother stressed over and over again. My mother taught me to be humble, but don’t take the back seat to no one.

I worked hard in school and within my career, but (2) things I had to learn on my own was:

1. The art of being myself.

2. The art of being a fearless dreamer.

After, seeing the new Tyler Perry movie “Good Deeds”. Some parents view success in material things, job titles and education levels.

What is one thing you wished your parents would have taught you?

Oh this is easy for me! How not to procrastinate. I’m much better now, but that was an awful habit especially in college.
