Though I have been holding of on joining “yet another social network” because of SNF (Social Networking Fatigue), I decided now was as good a time as any to join GovLoop. Besides is seems to be the preferred social network for Government 2.0 Camp and will most likely connect me with a bunch of people who I would like to get to know to get better anyway. Why not? What is one more social network when you are already on a million.
I have known about GovLoop for some time. Looking forward to messing around with the features & seeing how much I can flex my profile.

Hi Welcome and you are not alone.
Blogs, GovLoop and Twitter I have to limit myself to 2 hours a day. Boy that goes by fast.
Yet each medium is very different. Twitter is like head line news, Blogs are like books and govLoop IMO is more like a news paper locals section about people.

I doubt you’ll be disappointed. GovLoop attracts some pretty cool people, maybe even because they are opting to learn another social tool, which obviously shows some good dedication. The 8000+ members seem to have a whole lot to say with open ears.
